This might just be one of my favourite changes. A wormery takes your food scraps and turns them into pure garden gold — rich compost and a nutrient-packed liquid that your plants will love. It’s low effort, low smell, and high reward.

Feeding the worms is strangely satisfying, and watching them do their thing feels like a tiny miracle of nature. It’s full-circle sustainability: food waste in, soil life out. And once you’ve got a wormery, you’ll wonder why you ever threw scraps in the bin.
